Charity Partners

Partnering with likeminded, purpose-led charities and advocacy groups enables us to expand our reach – raising more awareness, funding more innovative research and, ultimately, helping more patients. We are proud to partner with the following organisations.

Funding Neuro aims to accelerate the development of new treatments for many of the most serious neurological conditions – including adult and childhood brain tumours (glioblastoma and diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma), Parkinson’s disease and Motor Neurone Disease. Rather than focus on one single neurological condition or duplicate the work being carried out by other charities, Funding Neuro identifies the issues that hinder progress and finds solutions so that research and innovative therapies can be accelerated.

Funding Neuro is delighted to be working with UK Focused Ultrasound Foundation as we advance this exciting area of safe, repeatable and non-invasive treatments for some of the most difficult to treat conditions.  –David Mulligan, Chief Executive Officer.

Pancreatic Cancer UK wants to transform the future for everyone with pancreatic cancer by funding world-leading research. Their vision is that everyone with pancreatic cancer survives to live long and well.

“Pancreatic cancer is a devastating disease which currently has very few effective treatment options. We are pleased to partner with the UK Focused Ultrasound Foundation to fund research that moves us closer towards realising our shared ambition of improving treatment for the 10,700 people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every year in the UK. We also appreciate their generous support of our research forum, which facilitates discussion and networking amongst the pancreatic cancer research community so that together we can work towards much needed breakthroughs in the detection and treatment of this most challenging disease.”   –Dr Madina Kara, Head of Research at Pancreatic Cancer UK

Current co-funded projects:

  • Combining Histotripsy and Immunotherapy for the Treatment of Pancreatic Cancer – Institute of Cancer Research
  • Leveraging Focused Ultrasound to Improve Immunotherapy Responses in Pancreatic Cancer – University of Oxford
